Both have the same 3rd order hi-pass filter at 16 Hz. This is the same NSW compared to an HST-18 in a 12 cu ft cabinet and tuned to 14 Hz, also powered by 2500 watts. A 3rd order hi-pass at 12 Hz to keep excursion in check. The HT-18 v3 is 750w with 1500 peak. Nick said these are not going to hold up in the same manner as the SQLs and said the 750/1500 is a good figure. Pushing beyond could lead to thermal failure.
